NEW RECYCLING AREA ADDED BY BLDG 25
July 30th, 2010 - view more in News
A new recycling area has been added West of building 25 at the right end of the garage. A small dumpster has been added to each recycling area for paper and cardboard. Boxes must be flattened before placing them in the dumpster.
The types of materials that can be recycled has been expanded so that now almost all plastics and styrofoam can be recycled. Also, paper can be recycled in addition to cardboard. Only envelopes with plastic windows can not be recycled. Paper and cardboard are to be placed in the small dumpsters with the yellow lids. All other recycling items (Plastics, Metal, Glass) can be mixed in any of the smaller trash can sized containers.
Due to the recycling efforts of the community, we were able to reduce the number of times the dumpsters on the property are picked up from three times a week to two times a week. This is saving Ocean Grove over $600 per month. Good work recyclers.
Below are detailed instructions on what can be recycled.
